Maria Rosa Cavallo in Ricca was born in Busano, aboutan hour by car from Forno Canavese. I have no idea how she and brother Batista met Candidoand Quinta Ricca in Cavallo from Forno. That's right, a brother and a sister married asister and a brother. Well, I guess it made for fewer in-laws.....Here is some useful history that I have derived fromthe attached documents. Her tree entries, as usual on this site, are at the bottom of thepage.
Note that the handwriting is hers. I do not have theoriginal document; Grandma Catherine went to the Post Office in Peoria and made me a xeroxand mailed it.
Rosa was a truly remarkable woman, painfully young, endlessly courageous, with fiery red hair and eyes like the sky.
